    THE SHORT VERSION

    Follow the clues.

    Identify a U.S. city in six attempts. Every clue belongs to the same destination.

    1. Start with three streets. Search for a city and select a suggestion before guessing.
    2. Get your bearings. Hold the skip button to skip a clue (or focus it and hold Space or Enter). A wrong guess or skip unlocks Look Around, then a U.S. region, a fun fact, a phone area code, and finally a five-digit ZIP code. Both codes are representative; neither covers only one exact place.
    3. Direction unlocks on guess four. Your first three guesses show distance, plus state or nearby feedback. After you submit the fun fact guess, arrows appear on guesses four through six; earlier guesses stay distance-only until the round ends. The arrow points from your guessed city toward the correct city. For example, 100 km means the correct city is about 100 km southwest of your guess. Choose km or miles above the clues; your choice is saved in this browser.
    4. Close in on the city. A guess in the correct state earns a purple milestone. Within 40 km (the same 25-mile radius) earns blue instead, even across a state border. Keep guessing for the exact city and a green square. Your shared result records when you first found the state, the area, and the exact city. You still have six attempts.
    5. Take a look. Clue two opens an interactive panorama. Clue four reveals a sourced fun fact about the city. There is no movement down streets.
    6. Six clues, six attempts. Three streets → look around → U.S. region → fun fact → phone area code → ZIP code. The fact is a regular clue, so there is no separate paid hint.

    Daily or Unlimited. Play at your pace.

    Daily gives everyone the same city for a calendar date and resets at your local midnight. You have one saved attempt history per Daily, with no replay. An unfinished Daily can be finished after midnight or retired when you choose today’s puzzle. Unlimited saves separately. Finish an Unlimited round to reveal Next City. Cities do not repeat within a cycle; Start New Cycle appears when all available answers are played. Restart resets only the current Unlimited round. Search includes incorporated cities, towns, and Census-designated communities across the 50 states and DC. Use Aa for a larger interface. Ad boxes are placeholders.
